Quamby Pines Chalet

Quamby Pines Chalet is located in a beautiful valley near Deloraine, located halfway between Launceston and Devonport in northern Tasmania. It comprises a self-catering two bedroom Chalet with an fully equipped Kitchen, it sleeps 5, however a large Family of 7 can be accommodated if you use the double-fold out sofa bed. Unit2 is a self-contained double room and sleeps 2 people. 

All this is on a well balanced chemical free 40 acres with 5 acres of Bush accommodating a variety of wildlife, this includes Wallabies, Potoroos, Tasmanian Devils our semi wild Deer and a multitude of Birds a 4 acre of dam stocked with Rainbow Trout and a pair of Platypuses complete the picture, giving you the closest thing to a paradise. You also will love the 1 acre of garden with plenty of roses and a small orchard containing Apple, Pear and Nut Trees that surrounds your accommodation. There is also a few grape vines growing, mainly as a feed for the many and varied Birds using it as their B&B. The rest of the land is for our Miniature Herefords,Deer, Wiltshire horned Sheep, Chooks and more, all loving the lush pasture.

It is a place of total relaxation and ideally suited for day tripping to the numerous attractions of Northern Tasmania, including Cradle Mountain, Great Lake, West Tamar Wine Route, Launceston Gorge, Mole creek caves, Honey farm in Chudleigh, salmon farm at Montana, Cheese factory in Elizabeth Town and for the sweet tooth Anver's Chocolate factory at Latrobe plus many more attractions.
